Job Description / Responsibility
  • A Gulf Origin Multinational foreign bank in the country has taken strategic plan for expansion of its business in Bangladesh. With this view, the Bank is looking competent and hard working individual to fill a vacancy in its reconciliation department with proven track record and strong accounting Knowledge, preferably with prior experience of reconciling bank books.
  • Primary responsibilities:
  • To reconcile Inter-Branch accounts, NOSTRO Accounts and ATM Transactions accurately on a daily basis and report to respective authorities for information and resolution of un-reconciled entries.
  • Monitoring of OMNIBUS Account with BRAC Bank for ATM Transactions and ensure availability of fund / minimum required balance as per agreement.
  • Continuous follow-up/communication with respective departments to update, assist/guide and wash/clear-out all the un-reconciled items with-in stipulated time period as per policy and to avoid potential loss / provisioning requirement.

Educational Requirements:
    Bachelors or Masters Degree from any Reputed University, preferably with academic background in Business Studies with major in Accounting/ Finance.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Finance/Accounts
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks
Additional Job Requirements
  • Ability to work as an individual and in team setup.
  • Very good understanding of accounting entries to ensure adherence to General Accounting Principles, Bank�s and Regulatory regulation / directives.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially with MS Excel.
  • Good computer, presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure situation and highly committed.
